So you've dispelled the myths. Not that anyone had needed telling. The same can be said for the "education industry" in general. Every other industry works "on demand". Educational institutions lag behind; to a degree because innovators look at the National institutions and not the Global groups of people who want to prepare students for the industries of tomorrow. Just look at GUPS. It might save the institutions (the unis) money. Do you think they'll pass it on?

We seem to be at a point now where even the greatest philanthropists are questioning giving the institutions money. They know all they'll get is more research and little development; or at least the development will be centered around just one institution. So, how do we encourage the new institutions like Wikipedia and the global groups who put these new libraries/learning institutions together?

Well I suppose the first step is to talk to them. Say, has anyone heard of Skypecast?
